What is our service?

Intransit is a convenient and affordable alternative to renting a van and doing it yourself…we're even slightly cheaper. We send round one of our experienced friendly drivers who will help you load and unload our Transit van.

For moves within Edinburgh we charge a simple fixed fee of £47.
We charge £27 for a single item and £37 for a suite.
We show up exactly when we agree and we drive away after helping you unload so no hassle with forms at a van rental office.

Our service is ideal for students for whom we do a 10% discount...£42 per van load. Remember we don't charge by the hour..only by the van load so it still costs the same to move you and your flat mates too as long as everything fits in a Transit van and everyone is there to help.

How can we charge as little as that ?

All our drivers do three jobs a day so we can't help with moving heavy furniture like washing machines, wardrobes, sofa-beds or pianos !
Our customers typically want to move boxes and bags, a TV and a bed or a sofa.

What do we ask you to do ?

Intransit will show up for you at exactly the time we agree but our driver will need to be on time for his or her next customer. Please make sure you have everything packed before we arrive in sensible sized boxes and bags that you can lift yourself. If you have a lot of stuff or a lot of stairs we recommend that you try to rope in some pals to help. If you need more help Intransit can send an extra worker to help you for an extra fee of £27

How far will we go ?

Intransit will take you and your possessions from door to door at a time that suits you. and there's no extra charge for the chat !
Our long distance fees reflect the jobs we're not doing in town when on the motorway.
